Our high quality music is composed and performed by leading professional musicians and artists. Our products start with a marketing concept and/or a current theme/trend. For example our collection of lifestyle CD's, started life with experts on each subject from Yoga to Meditation developing twelve page guide booklets as CD sleeves and then working with the artists/musicians to interpret the concept in music.

In keeping with our tradition for innovation and development we have released over forty new titles in the last year and another fifty due this year, we had the exciting launch of their new -look interactive stands, and also the re-designed Lifestyle and Nature Sounds series.

Interactive Display Stands:

The initial reaction to their new interactive displays has been very positive and the new audio showcase is their flagship display that will turn heads in every store. The modern looking cabinets and graphic mood boards, added to the more streamlined appearance, complement any retail environment.

Interactive Merchandisers are supplied free on loan, displaying and promoting the CD's in a very visual way in store and enabling customers to hear a sample of the music title before purchase. Our market research confirms that this increases sales by a ratio of four to one over just displaying CD's on shelves. The merchandiser is the ultimate sales and marketing tool, they offer personal customer service and attractive presentation as well as building brand awareness and providing in-store entertainment- all in a single unit!

The interactive systems include many new exciting features to enhance the ambience in your shop:

• Every system has an interactive panel indicating all the titles available on the stand.
• You may preset your ambient volume
• The systems can adjust the volume according to the background noise in the shop.
• The shopper can also adjust volume.
• The system can be set to play a selection of tracks randomly throughout the day.
• The shopper can choose and listen to several tracks from every title
• The system has a hidden sleep button to place the system on hold at night.
• The shopper will automatically start the system when pressing one of the titles on the interactive screen.

	Chill out Range (8 Titles) The surety of modern living is that the complexity of our hectic working and social lives increases year-on-year. The Global journey Chill Out series consists of eight very different themes including Celtic, Blues and Buddhist and will be the ideal rejoinder to the stresses and travails of the day.
	Lifestyle Range (8 titles) The Lifestyle series has been developed to highlight the advantages of natural and alternative therapies. Each title includes a twelve page guide to the relevant subject compiled by experienced practitioners and a CD featuring relaxation music specifically composed to complement each subject. Across the titles the Lifestyle series will benefit those interested in maintaining and restoring health, relieving stress, mood enhancing, increasing mobility, relaxation and improving general fitness.
	World Music (14 titles) The incredible rise to prominence of World Music began in 1986 when popular musicians such as Paul Simon and Peter Gabriel introduced African and Asian influences into their music. Over the last ten years World Music has moved from being a niche market into the mainstream and the growing number of Global Journey titles reflect a broad spectrum of the best in the genre.
	Spa Range (4 titles) Balancing health with music. The pressures of everyday life increase year-on-year and as a result the popularity of health spas increases proportionally as we seek ways to alleviate the symptoms of stress. Avoid PRS / ASCAP / BMI

The majority of the music tracks on Global Journey CD's are owned outright by the company. As both copyright and publication rights owners, retailers playing and selling only Global Journey music in store are exempt from paying for a public performance licence. To retail store owners this represents a significant saving, especially for multiple site owners.

Music on hold

MOH is a source of revenue for PRS/ASCAP. Any company playing MOH on their company telephone system has to pay an annual license fee to PRS/ASCAP. As we own the rights to our music we can allow commercial customers to use our music for MOH systems with no fees payable to PRS/ASCAP. Our rates are: 1-9 lines R750 per annum 10+ lines R1350 per annum. You may then order a CD(s) at the trade price to use in the system. Please contact The Spa Warehouse for further details. Licensing:
